Chevrolet Repair: Blazer dashboard vent quits, chevy blazer, vacuum leak

Question
I bought a used '97 Chevy Blazer.  For the first 6 months the ventilation system worked fine.  One day, the dashboard vents wouldn't send air out.  I tried both A/C and air vent.  All the other vents work.  With summer coming, I need to fix this....Help!

Answer
unfortunatly there is no easy fix to this, more than likely debris has got caught up inside the vents and is preventing the flapper doors from moving ( redirecting air to where you want it ), this would require pulling the dash and cleaning the duct work, the other and more simple possibilty is that you have a vacuum leak under the hood somwhere, those vents are vacuum operated so take a close look near the firwall and search for a leak or disconnected or broken vacuum line, Like I said there is no real easy fix to this so good luck, maybe you will find a vacuum leak relativly easy, that would be a good thing
