Chevrolet Repair: ignition timing, throttle body injection, brake master cylinder

Question
I have a 1988 Chevrolet pickup with a 350 and throttle body injection.(2 barrel)  I recently put an Accel Billetech distributor in.  I timed it with an inductive timing light at 4 degree btdc.  Then I noticed an under the hood sticker with timing specs.  I can't read it all because some of the sticker is gone.  Please tell me the correct way to time my engine.  Thanks.  P.S. It also has an ECM module behind the glove box.

Answer
Hi Jon,
For one thing, there is an electronic spark timing bypass wire that needs to be disconnected while setting the timing. It is brown and white, crosses the firewall behind and above the engine, and has a connector in it, probably right beside the brake master cylinder, although they located that connector in several places during the years.
I would suggest that you get a manual to look at with the proceedure for your engine.
