Chevrolet Repair: 1995 camaro air pump, water in the air, check valves

Question
Hi Mark
I have a 1995 Z28 5.7L.  I have intermittent stumbling during acceleration and now the fuse for my air pump in the relay box under the hood keeps blowing and giving me a "check engine soon". This might sound crazy but the hesitation during acceleration seems to be altitude sensitive. I live in the mountains and I swear it stalls in the same places, mostly going up or down the mountain. Anyway thanks for any help you could give me.

Answer
Hi Ken, I would check for water in the air pump hoses going to the exhaust check valves. If there is water replace the check valves and clear the hoses of all water. As for the stalling I really don't have anything to help, but lets start with the air pump.
