Chevrolet Repair: Truck bogs down, chevy v6, manual conversion

Question
I have a 1985 chevy V6 S10. It only has 73,000 miles on it. Lately the truck has been bogging down in the morning really bad. It will start pretty easy, and it will run great for 2 or 3 miles. Then it starts bogging down and i will only go 5-10 miles per hour. The wierd thing is that after school when i take it home it runs great. It always runs good afterwords. At first i thought it was the automatic choke hanging up, so i put in a manual conversion kit. It seemed like that was the problem, but that didnt help. Ive changed the fuel filter, plugs, wires, pcv valve, and i just got all new vacuum hoses put in. The old ones were really bad and some werent even connected. Ive never really gotten to drive early in the morning with these new hoses, so could that have been my problem? Would putting heet in my gas help? If not could you please give my some advice as to how i could fix this. Thanks.

Answer
Hi Nic,
Something easy and cheap to try here.
It sounds like your gas tank might be forming a vacuum when it cools down, and starving the engine.
In the afternoon as it warms up and expands, no vacuum, but maybe even pressure in the tank.
Try removing the gas cap when it bogs down. If you hear pressure escaping, see if you can tell if it is pressure actually escaping, or if maybe it is drawing air in.
