Chevrolet Repair: Ignition!, oil pressure switch, zero fuel

Question
Van this is a good one.
Vehicle 1995 s-10 Zr2 4.3 W motor
Background starting to develop cold start problem- replaced CPS- No Dice and kept driving with same problems!
Recently had to replace passenger side window(someone thought they deserved my radio more than me) once replaced vehicle started right up. One day later car would not fire at all.  At this point a few interesting things occured first problem pulled plugs a little wet(only one month old) check for spark there but odly weak.  After resetting the computer by removing the battery for 20 minutes and/or leaving the ignition turned to the on position for 10 minutes and few more series of attempting t start the vehicle, ZERO fuel pump noise and ZERO spark.  My thoughts an existing problem concerning fuel delivery affecting only cold weather starts ie low psi from fuel pump teemed wih Im not sure what the hell happened to the spark.  Everything is in new good enough condition to crank the motor for 15-20 seconds and hit oil psi of 45-50.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
James

Answer
Hi James,
Check all the fuses first. Ign, and Inj.
It sounds like the ignition switch, but I wouldn't just replace it.
Another item that is linked to all of the things mentioned.....fuel pump, & spark, is the ecm, but if you are building oil pressure, the fuel pump should run from power supplied by an oil pressure switch, which that truck has, and operates the pump when oil pressure is above 4 PSI.
So, since the pump is not operating even then, I would look for a blown fusible link.
