Chevrolet Repair: 1997 tahoe stutter, spark plug wires, ac delco

Question
I have a 1997 two door tahoe that has been great for me until in the last two or three months i have been noticing that when I push on the pedal to give it gas of any real significant amount it just like stuters. Happens when i get around 2500 rpm. I took it to the shop and they just said i needed to clean all the fuel injectors get new spark plugs etc. i knoew i needed that anyways so i did it. but that didnt fix the problem. It seems to have slowly gotten worse over the last couple months, i dont normally gas it that much but getting on to the highway the other day i couldnt merege safely. It happens even when i give the car gas in park. Any ideas, they are saying something possibly eletrical but before i shell out more money i want to know if its even remotly close to the problem area. It just had a full tune replacing plugs, cleaning the injectors, replaced o2 sensor, etc. it appears as though a few people have come accross this problem in other forums around and just have not been able to pinpoint the solution.

Answer
Hi Brandon, This can be fixed!! The first thing you need to do is replace the Distributor cap and rotor along with ALL spark plug wires. Use a good brand, I like ac delco stuff because it will last. The next thing is the fuel filter, change this every 2 years whether it needs it or not. Let me know what happens after this is done.
