Chevrolet Repair: 1996 blazer, kids school, school bus

My car is not starting , when i turn the key it seems like its going to turn over but doesn't quite make it.  The battery seems strong and only dies out because i am trying to get it started and its not kicking over.  Yesterday it took a jump start very easily and ran all day, even with me turning the car on and off.  This morning i tried to get it to start and noway!  nothing left on and everything working in the car except the engine. If you can help I would so appreciate it I couldn°t get to work this a.m. and luckily my kids school bus had not come yet and was able to get to school.  I can not afford this to keep happening especially in the morning.

Hello Marian,
First thing I would do for you is disconnect the battery, and clean the connections real well. Especially where the metal touches metal.
I would also load test the battery, just to be sure.
Most major parts houses will test it for free, either on or off the car.
On the car is best, because they can test the starter current draw also.
