Chevrolet Repair: 1992 Chevy Suburban, chevy suburban, convenience center

Question
I just went out to my truck, started it up, turned on the A/C, and the blower motor is not working at all?  What are the steps to troubleshoot?  I have checked the fuses. Thanks..

Answer
Hello Samuel,
Forgive me for not answering sooner, but I was out of town on a firefighting assignment, and nowhere near a computer.

With a test light, I would check for power at the blower connection itself, right on the blower motor. Also check the ground wire while there.

There is a resistor block, usually behind the glove compartment, mounted in the blower housing. The resistors are inside, but remove the screws an it all comes out.
Normally if the resistors are bad, the blower will still run on high speed, though, so a switch or control module is a possibility.
Another possibility is the blower relay, which should be in the convenience center under the hood. Switching a couple relays can isolate that, like the trailer light relay, which should be the same part number.
