Chevrolet Repair: 2004 Chev Express Van stalls out in hot weather, electric fuel pump, hot weather

Question
Van driven for work...
Begins to miss and stall when running in high outside temps...
No indicators or gauges are on or flashing...
After long enough period of cooling, will run smoothly again...
Adding fresh gasoline to tank seems to cool it down and it runs OK again...

Answer
Due to the extremly high speeds at which the electric fuel pump runs i9n the fuel tank and it's ONLY source of being cooled is the gas in the fuel tank it is highly probable that the fuel pump is starting to wear out and is overheating thus not delivering sifficient fuel/volume to the engine. I would replace the pump.
