Chevrolet Repair: Engine will not restart after short driv4e, s10 pickup, autohelp

Question

I own a 1991 S10 pickup truck. The engine will cut off and stall. After a short drive of 20 to 30 minutes, my truck will not restart if I stop for ashort duration. I've changed the distributor and compter module according to GM shop bulletin for S10 4 cyclinder made in 1991. But 6 trips and hundreds of dollars, no mechanic will work on it.

Answer
The most common reason WHY they won't work on it is that they do not want to take the time to properly diagnose and test the system properly. They just want to spend your money by throwing in parts in HOPES that they can get LUCKY.

Send your vehicle out to my facility in New mexico and I will fix it properly as I have YET not to be able to find, fix or diagnose a factory technical issue with the vehicle that I have had in my facility since I have been repairing vehicles for over 25 years.

I have run into a few on this ALLEXPERTS website that we could not seem to locate the problem, But I am relying on the person on the other end of the line of performing the tests PROPERLY and CORRECTLY. Since I have no way of knowing if they did the tests correctly I do not know if the results were correct in their test methods.

All I can do is give them a test to do and if they do not do it correctly or GUESS at the results, I have no way of knowing.

Your vehicle IS diagnosable/fixable IF you can get a technician who is willing to spend the time to find the fault.
