Chevrolet Repair: Service light on before & after repair, torque converter clutch, chevy blazer

Question
Thankyou for your quick response to:   Service engine light on, repair made but the service engine light was on when the vehicle went in for the repair.
Question     I have a 1998 Chevy Blazer. Had the transmission completely rebuilt. Runs Beautifully but the service engine light stays on and throws a code P1860 which says Torque Converter Clutch PWM Solenoid Circuit.
I need to get the light out because it will be going through state inspection soon. We had the trans rechecked by the guy that rebuilt it and he could find nothing wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Answer     If this code was NOT present prior to the overhaul of the trans and now it IS, Whoever rebuilt the trans is responsible for fixing the problem.

BUT..........
THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON BEFORE THE REPAIR. aNY OTHER SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Answer
You DID NOT say in your original question that the LIGHT was ON BEFORE you had the trans rebuilt.

You will need to obtain a service manual and follow the diagnostic proucedures for the code.

The transmission rebuilder should have checked ALL the solenoids BEFORE he re-installed them. Most likely you have a faulty solenoid but the circuit needs to be diagnosed.
