Chevrolet Repair: 1997 Chevy Lumina, chevy lumina, 1997 chevy lumina

Question
What would cause the low coolant light to come on when the radiator is full and the engine is not running hot?  Have checked reservoir and radiator.  Everything is fine except for the light "low coolant" coming on.

Answer
Is the over flow plastic jug fluid level at the full mark ?.

Is there a single wire elctrical connector attached to a small black plastic fitting located along the side of the radiator.
