Chevrolet Repair: 99 Tahoe Starting Problem, amp fuse, fuel problems

Question
Had intermit starting problems with Tahoe, V8 1999. Cleaned terminals on + battery, fixed the "cranking" but now will not fire, (like out of gas).  Found a blown 30 amp replaced but no change.  I haven't had any fuel problems.  has about 86K miles.  performance (till now) has been great.  Where should I check for possible problems starting at simple to - call the junk yard?

Answer
Hi Vic,
Spark and fuel are what needs to be checked.
You should be able to hear the fuel pump in the tank run for about two seconds when the key is turned to run.

I am curious about the 30 amp fuse...what it goes to, and if the new one blew also.  30 is about what the ignition system takes.
