Chevrolet Repair: help, chevy caprice, coolant temp

Question
i have a 1996 chevy caprice.... 350 v8 lt1... anyways recently it started flooding out, i went through a few things and fixed them thinking it would work... well a tune up, oil change, engine coolant temp censor, map censor, ignition coil pack, mass flow censor, fuel pump was replaced about 6 months ago... and a couple other things later, still no help, so now, after all that the car still isnt working right... when it floods out, its usually while im in drive, and starting to gain speed.. at a light i will have to idle to about 5 or 6 then slowly press the gas hoping not to flood out and stalls... can you help me with what this could be... please... thanks...

Answer
Hello Jessica,  The first thing I want you to do is disconnect the EGR valve (remove the vacuum line from the valve)  and then drive the car. If this stops the problem then you need to replace the valve. Lets start here Ok.

Let me know how you make out
