Chevrolet Repair: 1998 blazer Automatic Trans, transmission overhaul, transmition

my 1998 S-10 Blazer's (4-door, 2-wheel drive, 4.3 L)   transmition is jerking from first gear to second gear really hard. But only sometimes and usually after the cars warmed up. Any idea what the prob is?  does Slick 50 work and is it safe for my tranny?

Hi MC, This could be problem in the valve body. There is a pressure control solenoid and a shift solenoid that could act up at times. There is also a spring in a 1/2 shift accumulator that can break and cause this to happen. This will need to be looked at to determin what the problem is. Slick 50...as I tell my son "transmission overhaul in a can" OK!!!
