Chevrolet Repair: electrical problem 1988 chevy spectrum, turn signal switch, chevy spectrum

Hello,im having a problem with my 1988 chevy spectrum.it just started a couple of weeks ago out of the blue and it's driving mr crazy.it started out with the brake light staying on then a couple of days later the right side marker light would stay on,then my radio and dash board  lights went out.my headlights still work and brake lights work.can you help or point me in the right direction.thanks for your time

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed.

There are numerous possibilities such as the turn signal switch assembly within the steering column may have an ope or short in the wiring harness. You are going to need hands on professional diagnostics for this one.
