Chevrolet Repair: shock absorber installation, shock absorber installation, mcpherson struts

There is nothing in the owner's manual on shocks.  2000 Astro and am attempting to install shocks to save $250.  Need step by step guide if available

At the public library, in the refference section is a whole rack of service manuals, and generic manuals.
You can make copies of the necessary pages.
Or at Hastings, you can sit and read the books.
Haynes manuals at parts houses also have step by step.

If that vehicle happens to have McPherson struts, that may not be a job you will want to tackle.
