Land Rover Repair: no dash or running lights, dash lights, running lights

Have a 1996 Discovery. Started it last night no interior dash lights and no running lights. DDash eventually came on still no outside lights. Ready to drive it into the ocean

check your running light connectors for any corrosion.  This is the main cause of light failures on our older Disco's.  Could be inside the connector itself, the wires, even a blown bulb or fuse.

I've replaced several connectors on my '95.  Front sidemarker lightbulb connector was corroded and caused my dash lights to go out.  Replaced connector and all was good.
