Van:  I don't know if this falls into your area of expertise.  I just rebuilt the engine in my 73 Corvette.  After re-installing engine and driveline, the reverse gear on my manual 4speed transmission hangs up.  It's not a problem getting into reverse, it's a problem getting out.  I have to yank the shifter extremely hard, slightly down to the right to get out.  (Like shifting into 2nd or 4th gear.)  It worked fine before the rebuilt.  Do you think it's internal or just a problem with the reverse linkage.  Thanks, Larry

I would think a linkage adjustment, but Corvettes are not something I work on.
