Chevrolet Repair: check engine lite S10 blazer 4.3 4x4 1990, s10 blazer, vacumn

Question
i have checked the codes and got code 32.was told was egr silonoid.replaced and lite still comes on and is same code.is it posible that it is the o2 sensor.i read what the code in a book says and it says the mixture isnt changeing whenthe egr is is commanded to open.i have vacumn and the egr is opening.any help would be nice.thanks

Answer
Hello Shannon,
If the egr port is plugged, the mixture in the exhaust wouldn't change, even when the valve opens.
Can you hear a difference in the engine running if you connect vacuum directly to the egr while idling? It should just about kill the engine.
You may just need to remove the egr valve and clean it.
