Chevrolet Repair: 1993 chevy transmission, chevy cavalier, forward gears

Question
I have a 1993 chevy cavalier with a 3.1 v6 automatic. I have no reverse but forward gears work fine. Forward shifts and sound fine with no slipping or noise. I replaced the lock up selenoid about 5 months ago. Reverse has slowly gone away until there is nothing. It was making a slight feel when changing into reverse, but now there is nothing.  Please help asap.

Answer
Unfortunately your problem is internal and the trans will have to come out of the vehicle to be torn down and repaired.

Although retired, I still teach transmission rebuilding and would be more than glad to rebuild your trans for my costs of the parts plus $150.00 labor. You would need to remove the trans and ship it to me here in NM and pay for the return shipping also.
