Chevrolet Repair: Noise in front end, sway bar links, bump in the road

Question
My 2003 Trailblazer has developed a noise in the driver side front. This noise happens after I hit a bump in the road, usually at city speeds.

After hitting the bump, it sounds like something is loose. It usually does not happen when I am making a turn or at highway speeds.

The Trailblazer has 4 wheel drive and only has 14,600 miles on it.

Answer
Hello Ron, The most common thing to go bad is the sway bar links. There are 2 links in the front and 2 in the rear. It seems like the left side goes bad more than the right, I don't know why! To check these for looseness you just grab the sway bar at the link and push it up and down, you'll see the movement.
