Chevrolet Repair: chevy blazer, chevy blazer, auto parts stores

I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer with 111,000 miles on it (approx).  My problem is the service engine soon light is on.  It stalls on me at red lights, stop signs and sometimes even going around corners slow.  Last summer we replaced the EGR valve, fuel pump and gas tank.  It is getting scary and frustrating to drive it.  Please help!  Thank you

Hello Kathy, This sounds just like carbon in the EGR valve, making it stay open enough to make it stall. They make a EGR gasket that has a screen in it to stop this from happening. Here is the web site on it....http://bbb-carb.com/Klean_Screen.htm. They sell it at auto parts stores.
