Chevrolet Repair: 88 cavalier z24 2.8 liter mpfi firing order, cavalier z24, radiator core

Question
the car went about a month running like it was missing on a couple cylinders.  when we gave it gas,it would bog down for a second then open up like normal. then it started to not start after it was shut off. it was fine in the morning and after work, but if we shut it off after we got home and tried to start it a few minutes later it would just crank from the batery. none of the plugs were firing. after an hour or so it would be fine again.so we changed the coil pack, ignition module, and crank sensor. when my father in law took the plug wires off of the coil packs, he didn't pay attention to the order. but we changed the coil packs and the crank sensor at the same time. now it cranks fine and all of the plugs are getting fire, but all it does is crank for a few seconds and then backfire real loud. so my question is, what is the order from the coil packs to the plugs? and are there any particular settings for the crank sensor or ignition module that we need to check?

Answer
Hello Bill, There should be a label on the radiator core support or the strut tower that shoes the order of the coil packs. If not I give a guess for you...from passenger to driver side-1 4 6 3 5 2.. Not 100% sure no the order.
