Chevrolet Repair: Low voltage reset switch, chevy dealer, reset switch

Question
On a 1992 Chevy G-20 van with the 5.7L 350cu engine the anti theft device would not turn off. I took it a Chevy dealer and the tech hocked it up to there diagnostic equipment and it came back with the “low voltage reset switch” the tech said they did not know where it was or how to reset it the only way we can drive this van is with the anti theft over ride on and then all the lights flash and the horn beeps continuously. Can you help?
Thank you,
Douglas

Answer
Hello Douglas, These vans are far as I know didn't come from the factory with this installed. If they did I never seen or heard of it. There are a lot of aftermarket units that people install. If it is one of these I would just remove it or have it removed. This is all I can help you with sorry..
