Chevrolet Repair: electrical, amp light, light fuse

Question
left my lights on in my chev 99 suburban to go into a store.  when i came out the lights were off, although the knob position said "on " from mthe inside. no fuses blown, including the 50 amp light under the hood. have day time running lights and no other lamps seem to be affected. is there another fuse or switch somewhere that could have shorted or blown?

Answer
Hi Tim,
I think if you turn the switch off, then back on they should work.
If there is no power for the lights, they may have a fusible link, but I would expect it to be ok.
Test for power at both sides of that 50 amp light fuse.
I'm really thinking battery saver, but it should reset if you have one.
