Chevrolet Repair: oil presure, chevy blazer, oil pump

89 chevy blazer s-10 4.3 tbi auto.
getting low oil presure recently. changed oil tryed thicker oil but presure is still low.
I asked a mechanic and he recemended changing my bearings, i think it could be the oil pump.
what would you sugest?

If one is worn out, the other is probably close.
I would check the pressure with a mechanical gauge. It might just be the gauge or sender.
And I have seen vehicles run fine with low pressure, so depending on what you use it for, you will need to decide how much to spend on it.
