Chevrolet Repair: 350 chevy engine, torque converter clutch, chevy 350

when shifting r p m stays up ;after driving a little engine lopes idle at 750 drops to 300 jumps to 750 drops to 300 throw a rev o.k. then starts again'please help me many new parts would eck be the problem ?this is a 1995 chevy 350     3500 series  1 ton dump factory new ecm oxygen sensor knock sensor throttle pos sensor. air intake sensor.tbi cleaned timedcorr. fuel pump and screen all by dealer big bucks please help

Haven't seen that problem, but if it is an automatic transmission, and shifting to reverse corrects the problem temporarily, I would lean toward something like a torque converter clutch valve.
See if there is a transmission expert, or there is a forum that has tons of info, and hundreds of questions and answers.
