Chevrolet Repair: 1963 Chevy Pickup, turn signal switch, brake light switch

Question
My R R brake light doesn't work.  The tail lights work, the turn
signals work, the left brake light works, but not the right.  I have
replaced everything.  I took out the brake light switch today but I
can't locate a new one (I will probably have to order it through
Harmons).  Is this going to be the problem or do you think it
might be something else.

Hello Christian,
If the brake light switch operates the left brake light, then that switch is fine.
I would suspect the turn signal switch, since the brake lights operate through it.
Even though the signals work, the signal switch might not be making the contact for that light in the neutral position. Wiggle the lever a little and see if that helps.
