Chevrolet Repair: Blower Motor - 1999 Cheverolete Convrsn Van, cheverolete, convenience center

Question
Van,
I replaced the proper 60 amp relay fuse in the "relay fuse center" - located on the driver's side. This did not fix my problem. The blower just comes
on and goes off - randomly without the control knob turned on. If possible,
do you have any other recommendations? Thx Tom

Van,
Thank you. I'm having trouble locating the relay. The owner's manual indicates there is a relay panel in the rear of the engine compartment on the driver's side but it is not visible? I traced the wiring from the fan/blower and found an encased (approximately 4 inches by 4 inches) printed circuit board on the passenger side of the engine compartment and thought it could be related? I will try again to locate the relay compartment.

The blower motor does not shut off - even without the keys in the ignition. Causes the battery to go dead.
Answer -
Hi Tom,
Go to the convenience center under the hood and see if there is a relay for the blower, or A/C-heater fan. I have seen them stick. Just replace the relay.

Answer -
If there is a glove compartment on the passengers side of the dash, look behind it, on top of the blower housing.

Answer
Hello Tom,
The relay should be near the fuse. It probably won't say 60 Amp. It should be square, about 1 inch X 1 inch X 1 inch.
Kinda like a black ice cube.
It will have 5 prongs that plug into a socket.
If the relay isn't the problem, then there is a couple wires shorted, but I am relatively sure it will be the relay.
