Answer
What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently PRIOR to what you have just replaced ?.

Most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.

In my experience if there has been NO prior work done on the vehicle of ANYKIND, When the cat converter glows cherry RED, It is either a fuel problem in 30% of the cases Contamination in the fuel injectors or a fault within the injector(s) 10% of the time and in 60% of the time it is an internal ECM (computer failure) of which will require replacement and testing of numerous circuits to be SURE that none of the various sensor inputs CAUSED the ECM to fail.

Let me know.
