Chevrolet Repair: oil pressure, mark thanks, oil pressure

 thanks for your time. I have a 99 corvette 33k mi. As soon as I start the car my oil pressure goes to the makimum on the guage. 80 analog&128 dig.  car runs great and sounds fine,oil is fine.

Hi George, This sounds to me like it's just a bad sending unit for the oil pressure. I used to see a lot of these go bad but not to many any more. No need to worry about driving the car it won't hurt a thing. I have never seen a engine go bad in a vette, unless someone who work on one messed up.
