Chevrolet Repair: 96 chevy caprice abs light flash off and on and the signal lights do not work?, chevy caprice, signal lights

I have a 96 chevy caprice and this morning on my way to work all of a sudden the abs light starts to flash off and on and then I notice that when I turn the signal lights on the abs light would come on and not the signal lights. What could this be? The car still stops good but the abs light keeps flashing off and on and then at times when I acclerate the abs light come on to. Is the car still okay to drive? Please help me out?

Hi Danielle, The first thing I would do is make sure all your lights are working. Turn on the hazard lights and make sure all the bulbs on both sides are working. Also check the center stop light when you push on the brake pedal. If they are all OK I would think that there might be a bad ground wire. You can drive the car without a worry, the brakes will work fine but you might not have abs braking(not a big deal).
