Chevrolet Repair: blazer wont start, chevy blazer, exhaust manifold

Question
Yesterday while driving my 1994 chevy blazer stalled.  Two days before a new water pump and thermostat was installed.  When I pulled over and tried to start it it just cranked and cranked but did not catch.  What could the problem be?  Thanks!

Answer
Hello Dianna,
I would think that during the work, a wire was relocated, and allowed to lay against the exhaust manifold. In the period of time you have driven it since the repair, it could melt through the insulation and shorted out.
That's a guess, but that stuff happens, and is worth a look.
Another possibility is a connector didn't get pushed back quite tight enough, and worked loose.
