Chevrolet Repair: Chevy van squeak, squeaky brakes, 350 chevy

Question
Recently my 1987 (350)Chevy Van has been making a high pitched squeak. It almost makes the same sound as squeaky brakes. Of course the differance is it only makes the sound when you are "not" using the brakes.  The minute any pressure is used on the brakes the sound goes away. It only makes a sound when the car is moving.  Speed doesn't seem to effect the noise. My uneducated guess is it is comming from the wheels, but it is hard to pinpoint.   If I make a left hand turn the sound increases.  It is also not consistant. Sometime it seems to disapear but usually it is around at various levels.  I have only noticed it now for about a week.  Any suggestions on what it might be.  I very much appreciate your time you donate to helping people.

Answer
Hi David,
Actually, it probably is the brakes. The pads are very near the rotor, and it rubs enough to make the pads wiggle.
It is probably the back side of the pads, where they contact the piston or caliper where the squeeking is coming from. There are several anti squeel products, the spray paint type is what I like best.
