Chevrolet Repair: Turn signal failure on Dr. side - all bulbs, turn signal switch, signal flashers

Question
Hello,
This is my girlfriend's car - late year model 95 Tracker hardtop, 4 wheel Dr., auto, & most options.

The problem is that the turn signals AND the Emergency flashers on the drivers side do not work(in the dash, front, & rear).

I checked the front & back light sockets(no loose or bad connections) & replaced the bulbs.

I then replaced the flasher relay(3 prong) & still have the problem.  The turn signal switch does seem to work fine mechanically.

I checked & all other lights were working fine.

The bulb for the turn signal is only for the turn signal & flasher.
The arrangement is as follows:
     Turn signal/Flashers
     Driving light/Brake Light
     Reverse light
I checked & all other lights were working fine.

Thanks & please help,
Bill

Answer
Hi Bill,
I don't have a wire schematic for a Tracker, but about the only thing that would be common to all of those functions would be the turn signal switch itself. I thought about wires and loose connections in connectors, but I believe the switch will be it.
You may be able to get a used switch from a salvage yard, and connect it to the wire connector down on the steering column before removing the steering wheel, just to see if it corrects the problem.
