Chevrolet Repair: electrical, 77 corvette, light timers

Question
Hi Van,
I'm the guy you helped yesterday concerning the 77 corvette. (batt. drain) Just wanted to say thanks.
I thought the relay clicking when engauging the battery was normal. However, after stepping back and thinking about what you said, it clicked. (This time my brain, not the relay!)
It turns out it's the alarm relay. It seems the alarm was going on intermitently so the guy before me disconnected it at the horn only, which left the rest of it live!
Not to mention all the lamp cord and other nests of crap this guy did just for a radio and speakers which I put back to normal including other things I just couldn't believe!
Anyway, thank you for answering / helping me so fast!
The Best To You and Yours!
Thank you!
Bob

Answer
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the get-back to me. Seldom happens.
I hope that allowed you to find and fix the drain.
In case I didn't send it, there is a link I found that helps track down drains. You do need to keep in mind some light timers stay on for several seconds in later vehicles, but I don't think yours has any timers, etc.

Thanks, and good luck,
