Chevrolet Repair: Directional Signals not working, 1979 Chevy PU, directional signals, hazard flashers

Hi Van,

I have a 1979 Chevy 1/2Ton 4X4, and the directional
signals do not work...Neither side!
The 4 way hazard flashers work OK...I replaced the
Flasher...and the fuse appears OK...according to
the location of the fuse given by a "Clymer" truck
manual...2nd one "up" from the bottom on the left hand side....
Please advise.......and Thank you for any help offered...

Hello Richard,
There are two flashers, one for the hazzard, and a different one for the signals.
The signal switch is a possibility, as well as wirh harness connections, and ignition switch.
Check all the fuses with a test light while they are in the sockets. Should read the same on both ends.
