Chevrolet Repair: 91 s-10 blazer 4.3 t.b.i., throttle position sensor, fuel pump relay

Question
my blazer hesitates on acceleration after it warms up.it's been happening for a while but if I give it gas slowly it's not bad. then last week it would crank but wouldn't start. if I primed the tbi it would fire but not run.
the fuel filter was a little clogged so I changed it, but it still wouldn't start. the fuel pump didn't start when I turned on the key.and it showed a code 54. as an emergency measure I hotwired the fuel pump at the relay(grey wire)through a switch and now I'm back to the hesitation when it reaches running temp(before that it's fine) any suggestions
                   thanks,

Answer
Hi Stan,
It is acting like I would expect a bad, or disconnected throttle position sensor, but test it before just replacing it.
A crank sensor might cause the hesitation....I'm not sure, but is necessary for the ecm to operate the fuel pump relay.
