Chevrolet Repair: suburban noise?, suburban noise, fuse box

Question
2001 suburban.  69,000 miles.  Beginning today only, when I turn of engine and remove key, there is some type of motor/pump? running with loud noise.  Crawling under truck, box is located directly under drivers seat.

I had to disconnect batttery to turn off this motor/pump.

What is it and how do I repair?

Thanks

Answer
Hi Dave, This is the ABS pump motor running. You can remove the maxi fuse under the hood labeled ABS to stop the pump from running until you get it repaired. This is a large fuse in the fuse box under the hood on the drivers side. What you need to replace is the ABS module that sets on top of the pump motor.
