Chevrolet Repair: Cheverolet Suburban, fly wheel, chevy suburban

Question
Hi  Mr. Brian,
I drive a 1994 Chevy Suburban , the problem is that when I attempt to start the engine, the starter doesn't work, it just clicks. After the 5-10 click the vehicle will start and runs smoothly. I have  bought a new battery, check the cabel connections, and took off the starter and had it check by AutoZone, who told me it is a good starter, old but good. The 2x I took the starter off and installed it back in, the vehicle turn on without a problem for a week and then it started doing the same clicking before it eventually starts. Hope you can help me out. Thank You.

Answer
check on how it lineing up with the flywheel, sound of clicking is it too much into the fly wheel, chek for a shim or thin metal piece to space it more away from the flywheel. not to much cause then it wont engage and start at all. too much in and click click varoom. and before ya know it your repalceing starters like milk. ok? keep me posted/
