Chevrolet Repair: abs module, speed sensors, chevrolet pickup

i'm beginning to think that it is not the abs module, but i was wondering if i have had problems with one of my battery cables would it effect the abs brake system in any way even though i'm getting no warning lights. the problem has all of a sudden stopped.

i was wondering if my abs module was going out and
i need it replaced what would be the steps to replacing this part and how long would it take 2 people to do the job. i have a 99 chevrolet pickup z-71 extended cab with a v6.

Hi Christie, These abs module don't go bad to often. I have seen a couple that will keep the abs motor running. Tell me what your problem is with the abs system and I'll tell you what to do.

Hi Christie, Tell me if this is what is happening to you....When you come up to a stop and your going slow and the ABS all of a sudden kicks in and you have a hard time stopping. If this is the problem, you need to have the rust cleaned from under the front speed sensors. Let me know for more info on this.       Mark
