Chevrolet Repair: Turn Signal Problem, marker light, light bulbs

Hello Van,

How are you? I still have trouble in making my 1988 S-10 Blazer turn signal to work. I have found & replaced both blown turn signal and side lamp marker light bulbs. All the bulbs around the Blazer and the fuses are OK but still the turn signal won't work. There is a warning light "Check Gages" kept blinking all the time too. However, if I pull the hazard button from the right side of the steering column, all four side turn signal are blinking fine. I am totally running out of clues. Please help! Thank you very much.

Hi Joseph,
Has the flasher been replaced? It is a different one from the hazzard flasher.
If that isn't the problem, the switch in the steering wheel is a possibility, but I wouldn't think that is it.
Wire connector in the steering column maybe, but I would bet on the flasher.
