Chevrolet Repair: transmission 700r4, engine misfire, overdrive

i have a bad virbration between drive and overdrive sometimes inlower gears it alomst seems like at a certian rpm is when it does it i can give it more gas and it stops or let off the gas and it stops.thanks very much its in a 90 chevy pu 4x4

Hi Dave, I'm not sure how to answer this one, it could be a engine misfire or a bad u joint. I would lead towards a engine misfire from the sounds of it. If it does it while going at steady speeds then a bad plug or wire would be the problem. U joints make vibration while under load most often and can change when you let off the gas.
