Question
i bought the van with bad tranny..had it rebuilt and now the speedomoter works and stops working, the tranny seems like it stuck in 2nd gear, service engine light comes on,when this happens it runs rough and idles rough and seems like info center gives wrong readings...

Answer
Hi Shane,
It may juat be the output speed sensor is failing which cause the trans to default to second gear, called 'limp-in mode'. I would suggest that you get a fault code readout, often for free and a nationwide parts store such as Autozone, and see what the 4-digit fault codes are that are stored in the memory of the engine and transmission controllers. Let me know the numbers and we'll go from there. Tell me which engine you have and what readings are erroneous when you write back.
