Chevrolet Repair: abs light is on in the dash, chevy malibu, speed sensors

Question
is their a senser that can be replaced or should i take it to the shop is their a bad vaccume igot a plug on the brake calper it is plug on the master cylinder it ok breaks are new what else can i look for  99 chevy malibu 4 door 3.1

Hi Mark, You most likely have a bad speed sensor which is part of the wheel bearing. If you hear noise from the front of the car I would try to locate the side and replace that bearing first. Or you could take it in and they could scan test the speed sensors to locate which one.
