Chevrolet Repair: oil pan, lumina apv, oil leakage

my oil pan is leaking oil around the gasket. Is this a big job to do because i was told it was i have 1990 chev lumina apv 3.1.

Hi John, Yes this is a big job, you need to support the engine so you can drop the cradle down to get to the pan. I would check to make sure that your leak isn't coming from the distributor O ring. These leak often and when they do leak they alot. Look where the dist goes into the block for oil leakage. I would do this O ring first. Just remove the dist and install a new O ring.
