Question
QUESTION: Problem happen in past removed ignition from dash looked over removed back panel looked for bad solder on board seem ok reassembled tried started worked for about a year yesterday ran out of gas put gas in wouldn't turn over battery ok changed battery in fob used extra key with new battery no help switched relays last resort jumped it started went home Won't turn over again try turning over many times started few times once when started just kept turning over everything works just wont turn over please help

ANSWER: Hi Rick,
Please define 'turn over'. Do you mean the starter motor won't work or that the starter works but the engine will not 'catch' and run?
What is the vehicle theft security system light on the dash doing now? Could the theft system be armed and thus preventing starting"? The engine will crank but only run for a couple of seconds if that is the case. After about a half-dozen such attempts the starter motor may be cut out of action also.
Have you tried for fault code readout using the ignition key? "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then look at the odometer window to see the mileage reading replaced by a 4-digit number preceded by a P.

QUESTION: I mean don't turn over that starter motor does not do anything put voltage meter on the battery while trying to start no voltage drop don't have car right here will try checking code tomorrow night but don't know what dashboard views when anti-thief is on

Answer
Hi Rick,
The starter relay in the main power box should click when the key is moved to the start position so check to see whether that does happen or not. The gear shift must be in P or N.
The theft system status light is located on the push-button pad to the right of the instrument cluster. It should go "on" for 3 seconds when the key is turned to the run position. When the system is arming or armed it will be flashing.
The fuses for the starter motor are #10 and #20 so check that those are both good.
