Chrysler Repair: driver side windshield wiper dont work, pivot shaft, pivot arm

Question
how do I change the wiper motor on the driver side

Answer
Is this Leonard who has the '02 LHS? If not, I need to know the year/make/model/body style to give you an answer, Leonard.
There is only one wiper motor in any case so the motor must be good.  The issue is likely that the connection between the pivot for the driver's knurled knob that holds the wiper blade arm itself is disconnected.  it is likely that the pivot arm for the driver side blade is loose on the pivot shaft, and you will need to replace that pivot.
I can copy some pages from the '04 manual I have on a CD and attach those to an email I would send to you directly. But for that I need to know your email address. In a follow-up question tell me your address but don't use the @ symbol, instead use 'at', otherwise the address is erased.
But first you will want to inspect that situation by looking at the system after you remove the widw screen just in front of the windshield which hides the mechanism from view. To do that you need to remove the wiper arms and then remove all the screws that hold that screening in place. Tell me what you see is the problem.
Also tell me the specifics about the vehicle, please so I know what we are dealing with here.
Please 'rate/nominate' my answer/me (see PS below).
Thanks,
Roland
