Chrysler Repair: 96 Concorde alarm/disarm switch, chrysler concorde, concorde lx

Question
I have a 96 Chrysler Concorde LX and I broke the red security indicating light inside the seating area  Its located on the lower portion of the dash to the left side of the steering wheel. One could see if the alarm system is on or blinking. By depressing it, the alarm system would be deactivated. Now, the alarm system goes automatically on after about 15 seconds.  The only way to turn off the alarm is with the key fob.
Thank you.

Answer
Hi Frank,
The best fix would be to replace the red security indicating light by going to a Chrysler dealer parts counter or a wrecking yard. Because the security system is operated by the body computer there is no way to disengage it from functioning other than to never activate it. The way to secure the car without activating the alarm is to only use the mechanical push buttons on each door...never use the power door locks, the door key, or the key fob when you exit.
So you need to try and correct what is wrong which would appear to be the indication light. At least that is how I think would be the best way to resolve this, or only lock up manually by means of the push buttons, just like in the 'good old days'.
Please 'rate/nominate' my answer/me (see the PS below).
Thanks,
